Social justice, suppression of free speech, and all the rest of the progressive agenda has backfired. People have had enough with being told what to do, think, and say, and they turned out this election to put a stop to the progressives. Brexit passed in the UK when polls, just days before the vote, said remain would win by a wide margin. Donald Trump won the US presidential election, even though Clinton had a 98% chance of winning according to the MSM. People are tired of totalitarian governments trying to rule their lives, and they have risen up in revolt.
In response the progressives have doubled down. Bought and paid for mobs are rioting in the streets, further alienating the progressive cause from average people, and driving people further into Trump's camp. We may be witnessing the death knell of progressivism.
