"Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead. Our constitutional democracy enshrines the peaceful transfer of power, and we don't just respect that, we cherish it."
Tim Kaine started by taking snipes at Trump that I thought were unprofessional and uncalled for. Then Clinton took to the podium and acted like an adult, and I respect her for that. I respect her for losing gracefully.
Clinton did work hard, and she almost won. Trump succeeded against what seemed like impossible odds. The entire world was against him: the political elite of both parties, the MSM, Wall Street, the military-industrial complex, the gulf oil sheiks. The global elite threw everything they had at him. It was an impressive effort.
She said a lot of good things. Again, even if it's all bullshit, we should still take heed and try to live that ideal.
